BE WEARY: The gentlemen who our system released from prison are Robert Martin, Martae Brown, and John Roberts. See the above inmate numbers to read their mini-synopsis. Our judicial system is willing to release 3 indiviiduals whom pled guilty to their crimes and evidence was found pinpointing them to their crimes for the capture of 1 man, who did not have any evidence or DNA fingering him to any of the above crimes mentioned. Come on America, you do the math!!! Steve's case is strictly personal and he's behind bars because of his on going petty crimes and our system wants to put him away for life because they don't want to spend the time or money for rehabilitation centers or services for individuals. It's easier to put a man/woman in prison than to give him/her a job or a helping hand. God Bless America literally!!!!
MISLEADING: During Steve's sentencing hearing, the prosecutor gave misleading information about 2 other murders, for which Steve was not charged, trying to implicate Steve now with 5 murders, instead of the 3 for which he was charged. Keep in mind, the 3 murders Steve was charged with, the government did not prove any evidence beyond a reasonable doubt that Steve committed or aided in any of the murders. Further, the prosecutor added his personal touch by continuously calling Steve a "cowardly serial killer'". He called Steve a "notorious gang leader" prior to that. It is our understanding that this further vindicates the personal conflict.
SENTENCING: Steve was sentenced on Friday, February 9, 2007. During his sentencing hearing Steve addressed the court. He said, "My heart goes out to the families of the victims. I'm not mad at anybody and I will prove my innocence." The best is yet to come.
